Do you ever come back from a trip and feel blah? As you get back into the swing of everyday life, it’s common to feel bored or disappointed with day-to-day activities. The contrast between vacation mode (relaxed, no deadlines, new adventures on every block) and regular life, combined with the let-down of your trip being over, can cause what’s often referred to as post-travel depression or post-vacation blues.
Whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or a weeks-long international trip, I always experience some level of disappointment or sadness when I get home.
